Crew for the house

One schedule, one number to call

The whole house

Take control of your energy — not just the panels on the roof.

Most of what a house spends on energy is not the panels. Storage for the outage, a heat pump instead of the oil tank, a roof that will outlast the array, and a panel with room for all of it — planned together rather than one trade at a time.

  1. 01

    Make the power

A rooftop array sized to how you live, not to how many panels fit. The power it makes goes to the house first.

  2. 02

    Keep it overnight

A battery stores what the sun made so evenings and outages don’t send you back to the utility.

  3. 03

    Use it to stay comfortable

A heat pump runs on the power you produced. Oil tank optional. Summer cooling included.

  4. 04

    Protect the house under it

The roof, the panel, the charger — same crew, same schedule, one number to call.

Coverage

30

Year product and labor warranty.

$0 deductible, labor included, and it transfers to the next owner at no charge. On a system someone else owns, their agreement covers maintenance and insurance for the term instead — we show you which one applies to you before you sign.

Read the coverage
  • Major components, $0 deductible

Inverters, modules, and racking covered for the full term. Never a deductible on a warrantied claim.

  • Labor and dispatch included

If we have to come out, the truck and the hours are on us — not on a homeowner invoice.

  • Reseal and reflash

Attachment penetrations are resealed and reflashed for the life of the system, not just year one.

  • Transfers with the house

Moving? $0 transfer fee to the next owner. The warranty is an asset, not a footnote.

    A number in a minute

    In-home design visit

A Helio advisor measures the roof, the panel, the envelope, and the comfort load — then shows you what the house can support.

  3. 03

    One bundled number

Solar, storage, roof, heat pump, electrical — priced as a system, financed as a system, scheduled as a system.

  4. 04

    Install and 30 years

State-licensed crews, with NABCEP-certified professionals on staff. Then a portal, a warranty, and a number that still picks up.

Connecticut street at dusk with solar arrays on colonial rooftops

One payment, next to the bill you already have.

Cash, a loan, or nothing up front. Each one trades money today against money over twenty-five years, and the right answer depends on your situation rather than on ours. Your advisor puts the monthly next to the bill you already pay.

Questions

Before you book the visit.

How much can I actually save now?
It depends on your bill, your roof, and your utility — which is why the estimator starts with zip and monthly electric. How you pay changes the answer too: buying the system outright keeps the most over twenty-five years, while paying nothing up front gives the biggest drop in the first month. Ways to pay walks through the trade, and an advisor confirms the real production, the roof and the panel before anything is contracted.
What happens when the grid goes down?
Standard grid-tied solar shuts off in an outage for lineman safety. Add a battery — and a standby generator if you want whole-home runtime — and the house stays up. We design backup around the circuits you actually care about: well, heat, refrigeration, office.
Do I need a new roof before solar?
If the roof has less than about 15 years of life, we usually replace it first — or on the same visit — so you are not paying to pull panels later. Helio is an Owens Corning Preferred contractor installing TruDefinition Duration: on a home you own that is a lifetime shingle warranty, ten years of it non-prorated, plus ten years of workmanship coverage — the part that pays the labor to tear a failed roof off and dispose of it. That sits alongside the 30-year solar warranty rather than inside it. We install our own roofs in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Jersey. In Maryland we will still tell you if the roof needs work before an array goes on it — the roof just is not ours to install.
Can solar, a heat pump, and a roof sit on one payment?
Yes. Solar, storage, and electrical bundle everywhere we work — priced as a system, financed as a system, scheduled as a system. Roofing joins the bundle in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Jersey, and heat pumps in Connecticut and Massachusetts, where Connecticut Smart-E and the Mass Save HEAT Loan are also in the mix. One crew, one schedule, one number to call.
Where do you work?
Headquarters is Trumbull, Connecticut. Solar, battery storage, and electrical: Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Maryland. Roofing: Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Jersey. Heat pumps: Connecticut and Massachusetts. Enter your zip in the estimator and we flag territory before you book — we would rather tell you no early than waste your afternoon.
Are there still rebates or tax credits?
The homeowner federal credits ended for expenditures made after December 31, 2025 — which the statute measures from when installation was completed, not when you paid. Many states and utilities still run their own programs, and we apply only what you can actually claim. The commercial credit does still exist, but it belongs to whoever owns the system, so it reaches you through lease or PPA pricing rather than your tax return. Rebates & savings has the current map; the visit confirms eligibility.
